Blackrock on Tour


Where has he woken now?

‘It is some kind of
fictional place…. As in dreams things are out front that
are concealed in other hotels….’

The billowing of words
and the billowing of snow on the street below.

Was it this room, was it, where he almost died?
The mirror keeps its secret. The mousetrap by the cooker
holds back its answer...


Paul Henry is a poet and songwriter from Aberystwyth. His sixth collection of poems, Boy Running, will be published by Seren in the spring. He has recently written and presented arts programmes for BBC Radio 3 and Radio 4. His website can be found here.
